Bernabe Dubon, a 62-year-old Hispanic man, was tragically killed on June 11, 2017, in Durham, North Carolina. Dubon was walking to a local grocery store near his home when he was shot during a robbery attempt. The incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fidelity Drive and Fiske Street. Officers from the Durham Police Department found Dubon lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
