Jayvon Goolsby, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 5, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jayvon was at his residence on Ohaus Court when shots were fired into his home at approximately 5:43 a.m. He was struck by the bullets and died at the scene. The incident occurred while Jayvon was preparing for school, highlighting the senseless nature of the violence that claimed his life.
