Kenneth Armstrong, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2019, in Matthews, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a public pool near Matthews, where Armstrong was shot. Following the shooting, he was driven to Novant Health Matthews Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
