Sebastian Acosta-Bayona, a 19-year-old male, was tragically shot and killed on August 9, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Sharon Point Apartment Homes located on Amity Pointe Road. The call for service came in at 8:39 p.m. as an assault with a deadly weapon. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Sebastian Acosta-Bayona with a gunshot wound outside an apartment. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family was notified of his death.
