DaShaun J. Pearsall, a 23-year-old African American male from Willard, North Carolina, tragically passed away on August 21, 2019, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. His death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred on Davis Street in Jacksonville. On the morning of August 21, 2019, at approximately 7:31 a.m., the Jacksonville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting and found DaShaun lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound.
