Renessa Godwin, a 30-year-old woman from Lumberton, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on December 2, 2019. She was shot multiple times at her home on Carthage Road during a birthday party. The incident occurred when four armed men entered the home and opened fire. Renessa was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center and later flown to another hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries the following night.
