Lavon Jamel McMillian, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 12, 2019, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. McMillian was found on the 1400 block of Furnish Drive, where he had been shot. Despite being rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries.
