William Johnston, a 43-year-old male, tragically lost his life on December 21, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Ballantyne area, where Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a service call around 6:48 a.m. on Capricorn Lane. During the call, dispatchers heard what appeared to be arguments and shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found William Johnston with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
