On January 14, 2016, 67-year-old Carl Grier, a retired handyman, was found dead inside his home on Columbus Circle in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into his death. Despite their efforts, the case remained unsolved, prompting authorities to seek public assistance in gathering information.
