Kevon Cousar, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 23, 2020, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Kevon was a senior at A.L. Brown High School and was found shot to death inside his home on Cottage Road. Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1 a.m., where they discovered Kevon suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body.
