Patrick Legarnt Geddie, a 42-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on March 6, 2020, in Spring Lake, North Carolina. The incident occurred just before midnight when police responded to a report of a man covered in blood in the 100 block of South Fifth Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Patrick Geddie nonresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
