Dontaveious Shyhem Miles, a 22-year-old African American male from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on July 19, 2022, in Spring Lake, North Carolina. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Thoroughbred Lane, a location near N.C. 210, approximately two miles northeast of Spring Lake.
