Cary Terelle McLean, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 19, 2014, in Spring Lake, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at Hall's Mobile Home Park on D Street. McLean was gunned down with an assault-style rifle, leading to a series of arrests and investigations.

The first arrest in connection with McLean's murder was made on July 30, 2014, when detectives apprehended 25-year-old Shante Nicole Ellis at her home. Ellis, also African ...
