Albert Charles Parisi Jr., a 31-year-old male from Spring Lake, NC, tragically passed away on January 24, 2021. He was found dead on a front porch in a neighborhood north of Spring Lake off Ray Road. The Harnett County Sheriff's Office reported that the incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Albert Charles Parisi Jr. was a veteran of the United States Army and was born on March 30, 1989.
The investigation revealed that the individual who fired the weapon that
struck Albert Charles Parisi Jr. was identified as James Lee Jones Jr., a 38-year-old male from Spring Lake, also known as "Goldie" or "Jimmy". Jones had warrants out for his arrest for murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, possession of a firearm by a felon, and six counts of assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present. The shooting also injured another man who lived along Connie Court.
Albert Charles Parisi Jr. was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sam Parisi and Katherine Parisi. He is survived by his parents, Albert Parisi Sr. and Pauline Antoniette Parisi of Sanford, NC, his son, Albert Charles Parisi III of Spartanburg, SC, and his brothers, Paul Alan Parisi, Blake Alexander Parisi, and Sam Albert Parisi. A memorial service was planned to be held at a later date.
