Additionally, Andreon Tyquan Kerns, a 20-year-old male, and another male victim were treated and released from local hospitals.
The primary suspect in the case, Reginald Dean Oglesby Jr., a 21-year-old African American male from Salisbury, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with Ijames' death. Oglesby was also among those injured in the shooting and was treated and released from Davis Regional Medical Center. The Salisbury Police Department obtained warrants for Oglesby's arrest, and he later turned himself in to law enforcement. He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $1.1 million secured bond.
