Jamie William White, a 26-year-old male from Windsor, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2020. The incident occurred during a high school graduation party held near US Highway 13/17 South in Bertie County. As family and friends celebrated the graduation of two high school seniors, a disturbance broke out, leading to a fight. During the altercation, a gun was fired, and Jamie White, who was standing in the yard, was struck by a bullet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
