Azell Jamil Houston, a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 17, 2020, in Red Springs, North Carolina. The incident occurred while Houston was leaving the Thunder Valley Raceway Track in his vehicle. According to the Robeson County Sheriff's Office, the shooting took place in the 4000 block of Old Lowery Road. Houston was pronounced dead at the scene.
