Christopher Washington, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 21, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a residence on Mona Drive in North Charlotte. According to reports, a confrontation erupted when Charles Smith, the ex-boyfriend of a woman residing at the home, arrived to visit his children. During the altercation, Smith shot Washington in the chest and fled the scene. Washington was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. ...
