On July 24, 2020, Durrell Coleon Fuller, a 35-year-old man from Charleston, NC, was fatally shot inside the Fish Hut Arcade on Wilkinson Boulevard in west Charlotte. Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene by MEDIC. The incident occurred just before 9 p.m., and Fuller was found with a gunshot wound inside the business.

The following day, 49-year-old Akinto Boone was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Fuller's death. Boone was identified as the suspect after a ...
