Authorities arrested Elijah Frederick, a 22-year-old male from Carthage, in connection with the murder of William Earl
Wright Jr. Frederick was charged with murder, possession with the intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. He was held without bond and had a court date set for November 25, 2020. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting continued, with the Moore County Sheriff's Office urging anyone with information to come forward.
