Sherman Whitaker, a 45-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 4, 2021, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Whitaker, affectionately known as "Biggie Small," was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Challenge Court. Despite life-saving measures performed by responding officers, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
