Lena Nichole Morgan, a 24-year-old woman from Kannapolis, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2021. Lena was shot and killed in the parking lot of Lane Express Food Mart in Kannapolis. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon. Lena was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, 22-year-old Nolan Graves, was arrested six hours later in Charlotte. Graves was charged with first-degree murder and is currently in custody in the Cabarrus County Jail.
