On June 10, 2024, at approximately 8:45 p.m., 43-year-old Ebony Cecile Gill was fatally shot at her residence on Lane Street in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The incident occurred during an altercation involving several individuals at the home.
Following the shooting, neighbors observed 18-year-old Jawaren Brion Smith fleeing the scene. With their assistance, police apprehended Smith shortly thereafter. He was subsequently charged with first-degree murder and is being held in the Cabarru ...Read More
