Donnie D. Smith, a 55-year-old male, tragically lost his life on May 8, 2021, in New Bern, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Duffyfield neighborhood, where multiple gunshots were reported by several 911 callers. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Donnie Smith and another individual suffering from gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Donnie Smith succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
