Sharen Karen McSwain White, a 47-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on May 18, 2021, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sharen was a dedicated employee of the Wake County Public School System, where she worked in the transportation department for nearly four years. Her life was cut short in a violent incident that occurred at a Raleigh apartment complex on Ileagnes Road.
