Jaterrious Lamont Moore, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on August 14, 2021, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. along West Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive, just south of Interstate 85. Officers responded to gunshots and found Moore lying in the parking lot of a motel, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by MEDIC.
