John Flores Martinez, an 18-year-old male from Mount Airy, NC, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on September 22, 2021. He was discovered lying in the middle of the road at the corner of North Main Street and Jones School Road during a security check conducted by the police. Martinez was immediately taken to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
