Karlos Evan Andrews, a 37-year-old African American male, was found dead inside a car in the parking lot of Eastway Elementary School in Durham, North Carolina, on October 7, 2021. His death was ruled a suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Andrews was a suspect in the fatal shooting of 49-year-old Loren Javell Ransome, which occurred on October 5, 2021, in Newport News, Virginia.
