Darrell Mims Jr., a 25-year-old male, was tragically killed on November 26, 2021, in New Bern, North Carolina. On that fateful day, at approximately 2:39 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a call from the 1000 block of Pavie Avenue reporting the sound of gunshots and a male subject who had been shot.
