Darrell Mims Jr., a 25-year-old male, was tragically killed on November 26, 2021, in New Bern, North Carolina. On that fateful day, at approximately 2:39 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a call from the 1000 block of Pavie Avenue reporting the sound of gunshots and a male subject who had been shot. Upon arrival, they found Darrell Mims Jr. lying on the ground, severely bleeding and unresponsive. He was immediately transported to the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The medical ...
