Precious Vernetta Dyer, a 29-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on December 26, 2021, in Wilson, North Carolina. She was pronounced dead at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Precious was a U.S. Navy veteran and was four months pregnant with her first child, a boy. She was engaged to her fiancé, Timothy Johnson, and was looking forward to starting a family.
