Ingrid C. Powell, a 24-year-old woman from Wilson, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on April 22, 2017. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Carolina Street in Wilson. Ingrid, who was of African American descent, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the first aid efforts of the responding officers, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
