John C Boone, a 49-year-old man from High Point, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2022. Boone, who was deaf and nonverbal, was well-known and well-liked in his community. He often asked strangers for money and was known to cut grass around the neighborhood. Despite his struggles, Boone was never considered dangerous. His body was found on the side of the road near Lakewood Drive and Futrelle Drive.
