James Michael Smoot, a 33-year-old man from Goldsboro, North Carolina, was tragically killed on February 6, 2022. The incident occurred in the 600-block of Bizzell Court, where officers responded to a shooting call just after 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Smoot with multiple gunshot wounds.
