Gerald McCombs, a 58-year-old man from Charlotte, NC, was tragically shot and killed on March 14, 2022, near Avalon Avenue. The incident occurred in the evening, and despite being rushed to the hospital, Gerald was pronounced dead. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified Gerald as the victim and launched an investigation into the shooting.
