Tyreik Davierre Elliott, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on April 29, 2022, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Tyreik was born in Panama City, Florida, and was the son of James David Elliott III and Nekochia Tutt. He was a member of The Camp Boxing Club and resided at 3171 Carver School Road.
On the day of his death, Tyreik was shot multiple times on Carver School Road.
He was immediately taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day. The Winston-Salem police have been investigating this incident as a homicide. This tragic event marked the 17th homicide in Winston-Salem in 2022.
As of now, there have been no arrests or suspects publicly identified in connection with Tyreik's murder. The investigation is ongoing, and the Winston-Salem Police Department has urged anyone with information to come forward.
