Nakea Latasha Brooks, a 27-year-old African American woman, was tragically found shot to death in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on May 16, 2022. Brooks, who was pregnant at the time, was discovered alongside her boyfriend, 33-year-old Marchellous Braddy, who was also shot and killed. The incident occurred at a house on Aftonshire Drive, where both victims were found by the Fayetteville Police.
