DaMari McClendon, a 4-month-old baby boy, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, in Monroe, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a family barbecue when an unidentified gunman entered the property and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of DaMari and his father, 25-year-old Darion McClendon. The family was inside the house when they heard the shots, and despite efforts to protect the baby, both Darion and DaMari were fatally shot.
