Jared Musgrove, a 27-year-old man from Hubert, North Carolina, was fatally shot on July 5, 2022. The incident occurred at the Patriot Place Mobile Home Park in Hubert, where emergency responders found Musgrove suffering from two gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Musgrove, who also lived in Virginia, was the father of a 2-year-old son. His mother mentioned that Musgrove knew the man who shot him was headed to North Carolina to confront him.
