Raymond Goodman, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically murdered on October 3, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Pilot Travel Center gas station on Statesville Avenue, near Interstate 85. Raymond, a Navy veteran, was involved in an altercation at the gas station around 11:30 p.m. on the night of the incident. During the altercation, Raymond and another man were shot.
