Steven Devon James, a 40-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragically passed away on January 21, 2006. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, but investigations revealed that he was murdered in his apartment on Azalea Park Drive in Baton Rouge. The perpetrator, who was later identified and arrested, shot Steven James in the chest at close range with a 12-gauge shotgun.
