Joshua Brooks, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 11, 2011, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at the B&L Restaurant and Lounge, where a gunman opened fire on a group of teenagers attending a party. Joshua was shot in the head, chest, and neck, and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
