D'Markus McKnight, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 23, 2014, in Natalbany, Louisiana. The incident occurred at a bar in the area, where McKnight was fatally shot. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office reported that McKnight was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana, at the time of his death.
