On April 1, 1990, James Bowers was found dead in Columbus, Ohio. The homicide occurred in Franklin County, but the circumstances of his death remain unsolved. James Bowers was 44 years old at the time, and investigators have been unable to gather enough evidence to bring the responsible party to justice. The Columbus Police Department has handled the investigation, but as with many unsolved cases, leads have been scarce, and the case remains open.
