Gwen Cox Salley, a 39-year-old woman from Grand Cane, Louisiana, was tragically murdered on May 2, 2014, by her estranged husband, Michael Scott Salley, aged 43. The incident occurred when Gwen went to pick up their seven-year-old daughter from Butterfly Gardens Child Care Center in Stonewall.
