Cornell Cummings, a 36-year-old African American male, was tragically shot twice in the chest just before midnight on September 23, 2014, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He succumbed to his injuries and passed away on November 30, 2014. The case remained unsolved for several years, causing distress and uncertainty for his family and the community.
