In the late afternoon of a Wednesday in Amite, Louisiana, a long-simmering feud reached its violent end, leaving one man dead and another in custody. On June 17, 2015, 27-year-old Joshua Lee, a male, was shot and killed in a parking lot on Highway 51. The incident, which unfolded in the 400 block of NW Central Avenue, was the culmination of an ongoing dispute between Lee and another man.
