Damona Moore, a 38-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 10, 2020, in Amite, Louisiana. The incident occurred early in the morning, and it was reported that she was shot and killed by her cousin, Carl C. Pitts Jr., who was 43 years old at the time. The shooting took place on Driftwood Lane, and the authorities quickly responded to the scene.
