Leigh Richardson Bourgeois, a 41-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically passed away on August 5, 2015, in Labadieville, Louisiana. The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into what appeared to be a murder-suicide involving Leigh and her husband, Jamie John Bourgeois, aged 42. Both individuals were found deceased from gunshot wounds inside their home, along with their dog.
