Ryjhoun Joseph Smith, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 11, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. On that fateful day, around 5 p.m., Ryjhoun was fatally shot in the 3900 block of Hamburg Street by two unidentified men who fled the scene in a white luxury sedan. The circumstances surrounding his death have left a void in the hearts of his family and friends, who remember him fondly.
