On a November night in 2015, in the small city of Marksville, Louisiana, a tragic series of events unfolded that ended the life of six-year-old Jeremy David Mardis. The young white male, who had been diagnosed with autism, was a passenger in the front seat of a vehicle driven by his father, Christopher Few. What began as an attempted traffic stop by deputy city marshals escalated into a two-mile chase that concluded in a hail of gunfire.
